Basic Accordian Fold Book

8 x 8 inch light weight patterned paper for back cover
4 x 8 inch light weight patterned paper for front cover
6 x 8 inch light weight patterned paper for front cover
3 pieces of 12 x 12 inch heavy weight cardstock paper
Mono Multi Glue
Metal Embellishments
18 inches of 2" wide ribbon
18 inches of ¼ inch wide ribbon
Silver stamp pigment stamp pad

Instructions:
1-Wrap back cover paper around 1 piece of foam core board. Cut corners approximately 1/4 inch away from edge corner of foam core board.
2-Glue edges in place.
3-Wrap front cover 6x8 piece around foam core board. Clip corners as shown in step 1. Glue edges into place.
4-Tear long edge of 4 x inch piece of front cover. Wrap front cover over top edge of front foam core board. Clip corners as shown in step 1. Glue into place.

5-Fold 12 x 12 cardstock as shown on diagram below.
Fold the 12 x 12 paper in half. Open and turn 90 degrees. Fold paper in half again. Should look like a t-folded on the paper. Turn paper over to wrong side. Fold paper in a diagonal. Repeat for the additional 2 cardstocks.
6-Glue 1/4 of first 12x12 cardstock onto second 12x12 cardstock. The first folded one should be folded so it is a mountain. The second folded cardstock should look like the valley.

7-Repeat step 6 using third 12x12 cardstock onto other side of second 12x12 cardstock. You will end up with Mountain Valley Mountain.
8-Glue front cover onto first 12x12 cardstock piece. Glue back cover onto third 12x12 cardstock piece. Your book is now completed. Fold it together.
9-Use leftover pieces to decorate triangles. Add matted photos, journaling and embellishments.
